   You could try getting in touch with the Red Cross, to see if they can put you in touch with any organisations.

   I hope you manage to trace your family members.

   I would google, yahoo, webcrawler and Ask.com search engines for the area you are going to. That might help, at least a lot of good info of the area and might give you some ideas.

   Yahoo chat might be another way to search. Go on messenger and then check into a chat room from the area you are interested in. You might find someone there that knows your relatives or even might be a relative.

   After you get there I would try to remember my old area I was familuar with and look around. Stop in restaurants and street stalls in the area and ask those people.

   it is not easy in Cambodia to find people, cos you know the government cant control thier own population or static, i dont know what to say in english, cos i am not good at it, i am from Cambodia.

   the search engine or Red cross (cos of corruption) cant help you i bet. 30 year of losing toch it is really hard to find.
   the way you can do is you come here, advertise their name in Local Newspaper, their previous name, job, …….
   and another way is you come to Battambang go down to that district and ask the govenor.
   which distric they lived? cos actually i come from Battambang also.
