I've been trying to search for my family history in order to create a family tree but I only have up to my great grandparents name. Everywhere I search, it's mainly taking me to US history. I need to find someplace that will take me to Brazilian records and even to Portgual and Italy. Can anyone help?
your family? or google where else!

Thank the mormons for this! the LDS church feels one of their main goals is to geneology map every individual on earth back to adam and eve. They are also very active in many countries and spreading their religion. Where this helps you is they may be your best shot at finding geneology links in Brazil. Do as much of your research as you can on relatives that are here. take that information to alocal LDS stake center. Most have genology offices or labs with computer access. You do not have to be a member of this church to access this. Just be polite and they are more then willing to help you. Yes you may find they try to get to know you and explore if you have an interest in the church but they will respect yo if you are not interested either. I am sure though they have plenty of research and access into brazilian geneological records. also try online resources like genweb and ancestry.com. I think you will do better going in person and getting help from the people there. Some of those women are amazing at what they do when i tcomes to geneology.
